Dolphin Cottage

Dolphin Cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage perched above the harbour on one of Brixham's most photogenic streets. Thanks to its elevated setting in Brixham's natural harbour bowl, the cottage offers fantastic views across the harbour, marina and out to the Breakwater. This charming cottage is just a stone's throw from everything Brixham has to offer, with fantastic pubs, restaurants, cafés and a variety of independent retailers all within walking distance. Guests also have access to a superb new beach hut at Shoalstone, making it a wonderful choice for a classic coastal break.

Located among a row of vibrant colourful cottages, Dolphin Cottage's cheerful exterior sets the tone for within. As you step straight inside to the cosy living area, the fireplace provides a focal point to the room and it is easy to imagine occupants of years ago looking down to their boats in the harbour.

The small but well-designed kitchen offers the perfect flexibility for self-catering. Brixham is a food lovers' paradise, and you will be spoilt for choice for places to eat out. For culinary enthusiasts, why not pick up some fresh fish straight off one of the local day boats to prepare back in the cottage and then enjoy an after dinner drink on the real gem of this property, it's terrace. Located at the front of the property, and with captivating views over the working harbour, you can while away the hours watching the view change as the tide ebbs in and out and the sun sets lighting up the colourful cottages on the other side of the harbour.

The bedrooms are located on the second floor of the cottage with the main bedroom enjoying magnificent views over the harbour and across the marina to the Breakwater.

The second bedroom is fitted with twin beds which can be zip linked together to make a King size bed.

• Dolphin Cottage is located down a very narrow road. Access is for unloading/loading only and then you are required to park in the car parks or nearby on street parking. Further information on parking will be provided prior to arrival.
