As a self catering property it's useful to know what is included in your stay. This property includes a small welcome/starter pack to help you on your first day of arrival. This consists of 2 toilet rolls, washing up liquid, 2 dishwasher tablets (if applicable), a washing up cloth, sponge & tea towel and tea, coffee & milk sachets. Cupboard staples and any other extras are not as standard and so we always recommend ensuring you have your own supplies of anything else required.

This quaint cottage bolthole in the heart of Brixham provides the perfect base for those wanting to be near all the action but not in the midst of it. Located within walking distance of Brixham’s bustling fishing harbour, you will also have direct access to coastal paths, beaches, Brixham’s Breakwater and Shoalstone seawater pool. There is a wide selection of eclectic shops, the opportunity to buy fish directly off the boats, restaurants, seafood stalls and traditional pubs. Brixham is within 30 minutes of Dartmouth, Totnes, Sandridge Barton Vineyard, Paignton and Torquay.
Famous for fishing, art and quaint, colourful houses lining the harbour, Brixham is one of the busiest fishing ports in the UK and is home to some of the finest sea food available. The town is also bustling with art and culture and has a great range of art galleries that feature local artists as well as showcasing visiting installations. On the Strand, you’ll even have the opportunity to see local artists at work. Take a leisurely stroll along the Marina to the breakwater where you can watch the world go by from the popular beach cafe or, if you are feeling a bit more adventurous hire a paddle board or jet ski and take in the views from the water.
Venture to the heart of the town, and look out for the stunning replica of Sir Francis Drake’s famous galleon, The Golden Hind, a recreation of Sir Francis Drake’s flagship that visitors can explore. The town also boasts a museum and various boat tours around the coast so you can get a real taste of its maritime heritage. Brixham has long been famed for its links to the sea, and now has an up and coming culinary scene with an increasing number of independent cafés and enticing restaurants offering local, fresh produce, some often landed that very morning. It isn't all fish though, Brixham's eateries are also supplied buy an excellent selection of local butchers, green grocers and farmers; you'll be spoilt for choice!
For walkers, The South West Coast Path will take you as far as your legs will carry you, and entertaining the little ones couldn’t be easier with Paignton Zoo, The Dartmouth Steam Railway and Splashdown @ Quay West all within a short drive.
