This characterful 4 bedroom townhouse is centrally located in the seaside town of Teignmouth making it the perfect base from which to explore with your family. With a range of excellent beaches on your doorstep, the nearest being within a 1 minute walk, it's the ideal place to relax and enjoy the Devon weather. The quaint village of Shaldon, historical city of Exeter and Torbay are all within a short drive making Teignmouth the perfect place to call home away from home.

Teignmouth is a stunning coastal town with historic Georgian buildings, long sandy beaches, and fresh local food. The town sits on the edge of the mouth of River Teign on the South Devon coast and is surrounded by lush Devon countryside, so you won’t find a more beautiful setting for a holiday.

Located on the main South West train line, Teignmouth is an easy journey from London, along the most spectacular coastal train route in the country. Dartmoor National Park, Exeter and Torquay are just a few miles from Teignmouth, making it an ideal central location to explore the rest of South Devon.

Teignmouth beaches are great for family days out, Teignmouth Town beach is a long expanse of sand with the Victorian pier, play park, crazy golf, skate park, arcades and promenade. Local watersports are also on offer if you want to try kayaking, coasteering or paddle boarding. Teignmouth Back Beach is full of beautiful fishing boats and has a wonderful quaint village feel – perfect for coastal walks with the dog.

The town itself has beautiful Georgian buildings and a lovely high street for a bit of retail therapy. On the promenade, Teignmouth Pavilions hosts a regular cinema and child friendly events all year round. There are regular music festivals throughout the year, including jazz and folk music and there is an array of small independent shops and the Arts Quarter with a range of art galleries, artisan and craft shops. Relax with a coffee, enjoy breakfast or lunch in one of the many bistros and dine in one of the superb restaurants, many of which offer local, seasonal produce. There are also many takeaway venues.

Across the river is the quaint village of Shaldon which has beautiful views across to Teignmouth, and is home to the Ness and a smugglers tunnel cut through the South Devon cliffs.
