Location
Fishcombe Cove (walkable)
A beautiful, tucked-away cove just below The Cove development. Follow the wildflower paths down for a sea swim, paddleboarding, or a relaxed bite at the award-winning beach café. Keep your eyes peeled for seals along the shoreline.
South West Coast Path (on your doorstep)
Step straight onto one of England’s best coastal trails. A short, scenic walk through National Trust woodland leads to Churston Cove and on towards Elberry Cove and Broadsands for longer adventures.
Battery Gardens & coastal viewpoints
A peaceful route with benches, greenery and cracking sea views — ideal for a gentle stroll, especially at sunrise or golden hour.
Brixham Harbour & town centre (easy walk)
Brixham’s vibrant working harbour is packed with character. Expect seafood, pubs and cafés, galleries, boat trips, and the buzz of a proper fishing town. Great for breakfast on the quay, sunset drinks, or fish and chips by the water.
Beaches & swimming spots nearby
Along with Fishcombe Cove, you’re well placed for sheltered swims at nearby coves, and for sandy beaches further around the bay such as Broadsands and Goodrington Sands (great for families).
Dartmouth, Paignton & Torquay (great day trips)
Take the ferry from Kingswear to Dartmouth, explore boutiques and riverside walks, or head to Paignton and Torquay for classic English Riviera days out, attractions, and coastal dining.
Seasonal wellbeing
Fishcombe Cove often hosts pop-up sauna and sea dip sessions (when scheduled) — a brilliant way to reset after coastal walks and salty swims.
