Let’s Go Back to the Start…
The journey started in 2015 when founders Jamie and Kate purchased their first holiday home in Brixham. After a successful first season, with many happy customers making repeat bookings, they decided to expand even further. They gradually grew a portfolio of their own properties, all offering guests an excellent base from which to explore South Devon.
In 2019 they set up Saltwater Escapes and began running a busy and successful holiday letting portfolio themselves. With 14 years of experience in finance, customer management, eCommerce, sales, and digital marketing, they gained a diverse skill set. They combined this with their local knowledge and passion for providing memorable holidays. As a result, they founded Saltwater Escapes.
Where we are today…
We have a fantastic, extremely passionate and friendly team who are exceptionally committed to what they do. We strive to not only ensure that every guest feels as welcomed as possible but also aim to ensure every stay is as memorable as it should be.
Our Housekeeping and Property Managers live locally to the majority of our properties, so we’re only minutes away from helping you and your guests during their stay. For the occasions where professional expertise is required, we have an established network of reliable tradespeople on hand to help.
We have a strong understanding of the latest trends impacting the travel and hospitality industry. Therefore we follow the latest trends and technology to ensure we keep up to date in an ever changing world.
