Guests should note that there are a number of steps down to The Brookhouse, which add to its secluded charm.
Parking is available along the main driveway, with shared parking facilities ensuring convenience for all guests. Additionally, guests have access to the extensive 3 acres of gardens that surround Laston House, providing a peaceful and scenic environment to explore and enjoy.

The popular seaside resort of
Ilfracombe with its harbour, which is overlooked by Damien Hirst's stunning 66ft tall sculpture of Verity. Aside from the beach, Ilfracombe is full of family friendly attractions and activities from the Aquarium in the harbour to Watermouth Castle and theme park, which combines the remains of a Victorian era castle with a theme park and gorgeous landscaped gardens.
Guests can enjoy regular boat trips along the North Devon coast, fishing trips, and cruises to the idyllic Lundy Island. These excursions offer a fantastic way to experience the natural beauty of the area and its abundant wildlife. For those travelling to Lundy Island, cars can be left in the private car park at the owner's risk, with a suggested donation to the RNLI.
For walking enthusiasts, the Ilfracombe to Woolacombe walk can be enjoyed with stop off's at Lee, and Morthoe. The stunning beaches of
Woolacombe, Croyde, and
Saunton Sands are all exceptional.

Drive deeper into the Devon countryside to reach
Exmoor National Park or head to Saunton Sands on the North Devon coast for a bracing walk along the beach. While in the National Park, make sure your walk includes the
Tarr Steps, a unique stone clapper bridge across the river Barle or pop into Withypool where you can enjoy a well-earned cup of tea and a piece of cake in the lovely tea rooms.
Make a day of it and take a trip to Westward Ho! (the only town in the UK with an exclamation mark in it's name) Alternatively visit lovely Clovelly where you can wander down steep, cobbled paths to the secluded harbour.
