A very happy week in Chantry Cottage. Cosy, comfortable and well equipped. A lovely place to return to after a blustery/wet/sunny day out. It is well worth topping up the bird feeders and watching as the "hordes" descend. A gem of a place. Forde Abbey, Ferne Animal Sanctuary, Lyme Regis, and River Cottage all recommended.

Thank you for a wonderful week in charming Chantry Cottage. We have all fallen in love with the cottage and surrounding idyllic countryside. The cottage surpassed our expectation, we don't think the photos do it justice! The decor is so chic and at the same time very comfortable and cosy. From the stylish kitchen to the deep sofa to the beautifully appointed bathroom, all has been designed with great thought and care. We have enjoyed Forde Abbey, Broadwindsor Craft Centre, Beaminster, Charmouth Beach and Heritage Centre, Hive Beach and Chesil Beach along the coastal road.

We enjoyed the garden table and birds at the feeder, we looked for Kingfishers along the river. We walked up Golden Cap and Lewesdon Hill and really enjoyed a visit to Charmouth and Sidmouth. In Sidmouth we had the best crab sandwiches. A fab holiday.

We were lucky to be able to book Chantry Cottage at very short notice for a few days family get away. The cottage is spacious and comfortable accommodation for 3 generations to be together. A peaceful location with beautiful sunsets and although weather mixed, we enjoyed visits to Forde Abbey, and the coast - particularly liking Lyme Regis and The Hive Beach Cafe. Thank you for the bird food, it didn't take long for a variety of birds to appear to our delight.
