Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Everything you can think of catered for, comfy beds, large towels, fine crockery etc. Excellent restoration, well recorded, what it doesn,t show is the thought and foresight to achieve what we see today so tastefully decorated. Well done Des and Kathryn, 3 years culminating in an excellent and sympathetic restoration.

A very big thank you to Neil and Maria for inviting us away with them for the New Year to this very beautiful thatched cottage. Thank you for a warm and cosy stay and relaxing few days, lots of lovely log fires and great company. Travelled to Lyme Regis (worth a visit) and also enjoyed a great meal at The Haymaker Inn (1 mile) down the road and dog friendly. Thank you to the housekeeper for your warm welcome and welcome package and a very Happy New Year to you all x.

Another stylish and comfortable property from Rural Retreats. Good base for walking, (many paths from the property itself. Somerset levels and Castle Neroche) and places to visit, ( a La Ronde nr Exmouth, Lympstone village, the serene Muchelney Abbey ruins and wonderfully unusual Hemyock Castle). We had good meals at Green Dragon (Coombe St Nicholas) Candlelight Inn and Bath House Hotel Restaurant (Chard)

The welcome hamper is amazing!
It even included dog bags and treats for our dog. The bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous! Amazing interior and overall just so sweet and charming.
