Tumbledown Barn is a beautifully converted three-bedroom barn at Luckett Farm, set within peaceful North Devon countryside close to Exmoor National Park. Once a former cow shed, the property has been thoughtfully transformed into a luxurious rural retreat, combining original stone and cob walls, characterful details and contemporary comfort.
Inside, the barn offers a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, creating a wonderful social space for families, friends and groups to relax together. The living area is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating, a wood-burning stove and countryside views, making it ideal for cosy evenings after a day exploring Devon. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering stays, with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Tumbledown Barn sleeps six guests across three generous king-size bedrooms (one of which can be converted to 3' twin single beds, on request), each with its own en-suite bathroom. This makes the property particularly well suited to groups of couples, families or guests looking for added privacy and comfort during their stay.
Outside, the private courtyard is a real highlight, with space for al fresco dining, a hot tub and pizza oven, creating the perfect setting for relaxed evenings under the stars. Dog owners are especially well catered for, with the property being dog friendly and benefiting from a dog bath with hot and cold water.
Surrounded by farmland, rolling hills and far-reaching views, Tumbledown Barn is perfectly placed for rural escapes, walking holidays, family getaways and exploring the beautiful landscapes of Exmoor and the North Devon coast.

Exmoor with its spectacular scenery and enjoy peaceful walks over the moors where you may catch sight of the wild Exmoor ponies. A must is also the
Tarr Steps or try some of the 51 miles of the
Coleridge Way.
Slightly further afield you can stroll along the beach at
Ilfracombe or take a coastal cruise from the harbour and look out for seals, porpoises and dolphins. Another recommended beach can be found at
Saunton Sands.
Play a round of golf at
High Bullen Hotel Golf & Country Park, and for the sporting enthusiasts there are ample activities to try such as kayaking, fishing, riding or rock pooling.
Fishing is very popular in this area with lakes and reservoirs for coarse and still water trout fishing, plus rivers for wild trout and salmon.
