This delightful single-storey, two-bedroom cottage sleeps up to four guests, plus one dog, making it the ideal choice for couples, families, or friends seeking a seaside getaway in one of Devon’s most picturesque towns.

Step inside to find a welcoming open-plan lounge and dining area, complete with comfortable seating, a television, and a dining table for four. The lounge offers a bright and relaxed space to unwind after exploring the stunning South Devon coastline, while the fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed to prepare self-catered meals using the freshest local produce, including seafood from Brixham’s famous fish market.

Both bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished to ensure restful nights. The main bedroom features a double bed, while the second bedroom has twin beds. The family bathroom includes a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC and offers modern convenience alongside the cottage’s classic charm.

Step outside to enjoy the cottage’s garden and terrace area, complete with a picnic bench. This outdoor space is perfect for morning coffee with sea breezes, al fresco dining, or relaxing in the sun while enjoying views of the surrounding countryside and listening to the gentle sounds of nature.

Guests at Landscove Holiday Park also have access to excellent on-site facilities, including a seasonal heated swimming pool, children’s play area, activity room with pool tables and darts, and The Cove Bar for seasonal drinks and light bites. For outdoor enthusiasts, the South West Coast Path leads directly from the park to Berry Head, where clifftop walks offer spectacular panoramic views across the English Channel, opportunities for birdwatching, and dramatic coastal scenery.

Location

Brixham is a thriving fishing town on the south Devon coast providing a wealth of locally owned restaurants, historic pubs and unique attractions. It is bursting with character while offering beautiful harbourside scenery. The Manor is Brixham’s oldest pub, and one of the oldest pubs in Devon, dating back to the 1600’s - a must visit and just a short stroll from the property. For keen walkers, you are also located right on the South West Coast Path.

Other attractions in Brixham include; the Heritage Museum, The Golden Hinde, Brixham fish market tour, and Greenway House, the home of Agatha Christie. For fresh local produce, visit Rock Fish restaurant, run by local chef Mitch Tonks, eat in or takeaway and enjoy harbourside. If you are visiting over Early May Bank Holiday weekend immerse yourself in the annual pirate festival! You can also take a boat trip from Brixham and explore other towns on the English Riviera and beyond.

Why not head to the beach, just 1.5 miles away, or visit Shoalshore Seawater Pool offering panoramic views of Torbay. Elberry Cove is a 10-minute drive away, a serene pebbled beach with crystal clear water, or head a little further afield to reach Paignton, with its large beach and bustling pier. In the other direction you will find Blackpool Sands, an award-winning single beach with water sport equipment for hire.

Torquay is around a 30-minute drive away with its bustling harbour, international marina, sandy beach, golf club and wonderful array of continental style cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars. Dartmouth is a short journey away via car or boat and offers a wealth of heritage and beauty along with wonderful eateries including The Seahorse, Angel, and Taylors, nearby you will also find The Watermans Arms, The Maltsters Arms, Hunters Lodge Inn and Durant Arms. While Dittisham has a number of water sports activities such as sailing lessons and paddle boarding.

For families with younger children, be sure to visit Pennywell Farm, Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary , Buckfast Butterfly Farm, Totnes Rare Breeds Farm, Woodlands Family Theme Park and Paignton Zoo.
