A Magical New Attraction for 2025 – Ice Skating at Abbey Park

For 2025, the Bay of Lights festival is gliding into exciting new territory! Torbay will welcome a real ice rink for the first time in years, adding a sparkling new dimension to the festive celebrations. Set in the heart of Abbey Park, the rink invites visitors of all ages to enjoy the magic of skating under a beautifully lit canopy.

Open daily from Saturday 6 December 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026, the rink hosts hourly sessions for up to 80 skaters, making it perfect for families, friends, and festive fun-lovers alike. Beginners and seasoned skaters will find joy in this enchanting winter experience, while parent-and-toddler sessions on Fridays ensure the little ones can join in the fun too.

Illumination Trail – Torquay
